The NSTF Student Travel Bursaries were instituted in 1978.
The main objective is:
“to offer financial assistance to students of Maltese nationality normally domiciled in Malta and registered to follow a full-time course of studies of minimum one year's duration that leads to the giving of a named award at a recognised tertiary education establishment overseas.”
