The NSTF Prize for Initiative was set up in 1979.
The main objective is:
“to encourage and reward students who show particular initiative in extra-curricular activities and amongst their school friends"
Participation:

Secondary schools nominate one student from their school on a yearly basis.

The school supports its nomination with a report on the initiative shown by the nominee throughout the scholastic year.

The NSTF Prize for Initiative is presented to the selected student on the occasion of the School’s Prize Day.
