NSTF was nominated as the National Organiser of the EU Contest for Young Scientists by the Ministry of Education in 1997.
 
The main objective of the NSTF Contest for Young Scientists is:
“to encourage students aged sixteen to twenty-one to be original and creative in conducting scientific research and developing a scientific or technological project.”
 
Participation:
  • Students aged 16 to 21 apply with NSTF during the month of October
  • Work either individually or in teams of up to three
  • Research and develop your own original scientific project
  • Exhibit your project during the NSTF Science Week
Prizes:
  • Represent Malta at the EU Contest for Young Scientists by courtesy of NSTF and the EU Commission
  • Represent Malta at an Expo Science Europe/International by courtesy of NSTF and Airmalta
The NSTF Contest for Young Scientists is professionally supported and adjudicated by the Malta Chamber of Scientists.
