The NSTF Executive oversees the activities of the Foundation and is made up of:
- Four founder members nominated by the University Students’ Representative Council in 1977
- The President in office of the Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU)
- Four student members nominated annually by the KSU
- A member nominated annually by the Senate, University of Malta
- A member nominated annually in rotation by the Chamber of Advocates, Chamber of Architects and the Medical Association
The day-to-day management is entrusted to the Secretary General, Mr. Francis Stivala.
NSTF receives gifts and donations to finance its projects and activities that are run on a non-contributory basis for all student participants.
